Is that like a purse or a pair of shoes? And here I thought I am lovable, because I am one of the sweetest dogs on Earth and all the children here love me!? But maybe they are looking for something that looks pretty on the couch. I will do that too, one day when I am a lot older and settled down. Right now I am a fun kind of dog and just discovered that the children and I have the same favorite game: Running in circles around the yard! I doubt the Babies would like that, but all the other children think me the coolest thing since ice creme. And I play nice with all the other nice-playing dogs too. The whole looking-pretty thing is just a bonus. When I get visitors, I am more interested in kissing all of them at once. Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
