Hi I'm Rocky. My birthday is 02/01/2013. I'm a wonderful dog that gets along with everyone I meet. My foster mom and dad wants everyone to know all the great things they have to say about me.

First thing they said is I'm housebroken... Isn't that the best thing about me? Well at their house I have a doggie door and I know how to use it like a big boy.

They take me to doggie day care and I love it there because I get to play with all the other dogs.

They also say that I am a great running partner.

So if you are looking for someone to run with to help with those new year resolutions then I am your man.

Please Call or come by the shelter to meet me. My foster parents will bring me by and tell you all the wonderful things they have learned about me.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
