Dachshund / Coonhound / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Baby
Learn more about the Dachshund. Oh hello! My name is Bones! I am a tiny little gal at the moment. I was rescued by CARA and they determined I have a very treatable skin infection. Currently the humans here are trying to raise funds to treat my skin. I am such a young baby, I have been through so much turmoil in a short time. I am still a puppy and am suppose to be eating, sleeping, repeating. Instead I am trying to recover from this infection. The positive is that I get a lot of cuddles during my weekly medicated bath! After my bath I get to snuggle in a comfy towel, snug as a bug in a rug! But eventually the humans have to put me back in my cold kennel. All alone :( You are welcome to submit an application for me, my availability date may change depending on my skin condition.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
