Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.

My name is Roxy and I'm about 4 weeks old. I was confiscated from a puppymill along with a bunch of other dogs. We were all cold and dirty so I'm loving life in a foster home where I'm warm, clean and well fed. I've had my first dewoming but I'm too young for anything else. I'm still getting coordinated so sometimes I take off and trip over my own four feet. Since I'm so young I'm not quite ready for my new home but will be about 2/14.

CARA cannot guarantee these are purebred eskies as we have no papers. Please use your own discretion.

For out-of-state adopters: The preferred method of contact is e-mail as our volunteers can only return so many long distance phone calls.

If you would like to adopt Roxy, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
