My name is Rosie and some nice people brought me to CARA as I was wandering the street. I must have belonging with someone as I'm a bit overweight and very loving. No one came forward for me so I'm up for adoption. Honestly, I'm happy with my rather roundish size but the CARA folks say I need to go on a diet. I am a true lap dog and that's my favorite place to sit. In fact, I try to spend the night sleeping on my foster dads chest. Rosie is great with other dogs and children.

Rosie is 1-2 years old. and current on vaccines and dewormed. She will be spayed prior to adoption.

If you would like to adopt Rosie, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
