I don't know why they listed me as chow chow, you know giraffe's have purple tongues too....yeah, that's it, I'm yellow lab and giraffe!

Butterscotch is about 16 weeks old and was found abandoned by a kind person. She is full of energy and very playful. She loves her peanut butter bones more than anything! She is yellow all over except for her purple tongue (the only indicator there's chow in there). She has adorable little tippy ears.

Butterscotch is current on vaccines and on heartworm prevention.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
