Check me out! I am a Border Collie Lover's special! Bred to be a non-stop, self-sufficient, independent working-machine, I already have all the basics down. I am energetic, smart and....... OK, I rather hang out with you then by myself. But I still have the smarts and the energy.
While I am really trying to please, I would be happiest with an active family that knows how keep me exercised and entertained. And in return you get one of the biggest snuggle-bugs ever sqeezed into a handsome fellow like me. You see, I am somebody that enjoys company and love to give kisses. And I never seem to get enough hugs in return. I am always so happy to see you and I even like to talk to you.

I am being treated for heartworms, but if you fell in love with me, I would love to hang out at your house until my treatment is over (I think they call it Fostering.). I am UTD on my shots & preventatives, seem to be house-broke and will be neutered.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
