Hi, this is Izzy speaking,

I am a sweet little girl, looking for a home with school-age and rather non-chaotic children or just adults. I am a big love-bug and snuggle dog and my favorite spot is... practially attached to you. I just love being around the people here and can't get enough hugs. I am also a great kisser and play nice with almost every dog here. I try so hard to please you and if I think I didn't, I make a sad face. And when you laugh or smile at me, I am the happiest dog ever. I am the best and most faithful friend you could ever find.
I am heartworm negative, UTD on shots & preventatives and will be spayded.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
