Itty Bitty...what could be said about this dog that has a big personality. Itty Bitty was born approximately May 24, 2012 making him a Spring baby. Who wouldn't want to be born when the weather is beautiful? Itty Bitty is in a class all of his own. Itty Bitty always brightens everyone's day when they come to see him. He has this quality that exudes happiness and fun. Itty Bitty would be that dog that has that spark of light with times are dark. He is the most playful fun loving dachshund that you will ever meet. He loves people and loves playing outside. He would love to have a family that has kids that he could play with. He loves his toys. If you are looking for a little ray of sunshine in your life, come meet Itty Bitty.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
