"Hello my name is Indy :) I am a soft spoken sweet girl who is such a nice pup that when I visit with the ladies at CARA at the front desk they sometimes forget I am there! I just love to be with people and if you give me a soft bed and a toy I am just happy and content! I was born in January 2013 so I am still a young thing. I only weigh about 30 lbs too - but I am thin. Maybe you could come and feed me some hotdogs to get my weight up? You may notice I have unique ears - when I was a little puppy someone tried to make me look like a tough little girl and cropped my ears. I really do not care what happened, I do not remember it, but a lot of people comment on them. I just like to tell people "I can hear you better now" and this is why I know how to listen really well! I like other dogs too, and love to be near you or even in your lap! Would you please come visit me soon? I love having visitors and I love going to walks. Did I mention I walk great on a leash?"

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
