You throw a really rough life at me and I toughen it out. I am a survivor and will not step down from a good (or in this situation bad) challenge. I am a fighter through and through and nothing will hold me back.

Bred a hunting dog, but a little more mature than my buddy Elf, I am very athletic and energetic and would love to hang out with active people. There are miles of foot paths I haven't checked out yet and tons of people I haven't met yet. And I really hope there is somebody out there who will take me there.
In return I offer my love and faithful companionship to anybody who can appreciate a real Beagle. I promise, I will only complain if you totally ignore me.

Other than that, I am in heartworm treatment and will be heartworm negative before I go home with you. I am up to date on shots, will be neutered and on all preventatives after my treatment. I also seem to be housebroke.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
