Remy is about 4 months old and up to date on all vaccinations. He has a WONDERFUL disposition and gets along well with kids and other dogs. He has never shown aggression toward our cat, although she doesn't really give him a chance to get close because she is afraid of dogs. He is incredibly loving when it's time to snuggle and very energetic when it comes to play time!He is happy to play with toys on your lap or run around with another dog, he loves to be social! Due to his size, he needs to be in a home with medium size dogs or large dogs that know how to play carefully with younger dogs so he doesn't get hurt. He loves to play with our husky/shepard mix, but she out weighs him by almost 100 lbs. and is still a puppy herself. She has no self control when they are playing so it makes for a dangerous situation. We don't want him to get injured. He is also potty trained, woohoo! Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease. Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Wed, Fri & Sat from 10-2pm and Thursdays from 3-7pm (other times available by appointment).
