I am a young Lady and right now I wish somebody would sing with that beautiful voice in Italian .....Bella Donna........ I am not only very toothy or nice to look at, but I am also trying so hard to please those around me. I am working hard on my manners and my greatest joy is to be close to you.
If I think it's what you want, I am as playful as one can be. If you want me to sit quietly beside you, I will so much enjoy your company. I seem to like the other dogs around here and I think I would do great with school-age children, since I am still just a little shy. But since I am very smart, I can learn anything you want me to.

I have been started on my shoots, am on heartworm preventative and will be spayed.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them.
