to fill out an application. Poundcake is ready to live out her Golden Years in a loving home with humans who love her. She came to CARA in rough shape and slowly getting healthy. Poundcake came from the local shelter as a stray. She also had some scarring from a tether or collar that was on too long or too tight and looked like she had many litters of puppies. The staff here would love to see this sweet gentle Golden Girl in a home she deserves with people who will show her kindness, respect, and love. If the face of this girl captured your heart, please put in an application today to meet her!

If you would like to adopt me or any of my friends, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at adoptions@cara-nc.org. Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
