My name is Picasso. I am a special boy. I am around 8 years old and weigh around 22 lbs. I was rescued as a puppy and remained in that same home until this week when I was surrendered. My family recently moved to North Carolina and has a small child. I was not adjusting to the move or the child in the home. I find small kids a bit unpredictable so they scare me. I really need a nice quiet environment to thrive. I get along with dogs and cats. I am pretty indifferent to them. I am comfortable in a crate if I need to be but prefer being right next to you. I walk well on leash and travel well in a car. I think I am pretty special, so I need a special home. My previous parents did a DNA test on me and I am made up of a ton of interesting breeds: Yorkie, Dachshund, Corgi. Chihuahua, ShihTzu, Bichon Frise, Schnauzer and SUPER MUTT! If you are experienced with senior dogs, and want a buddy for life that is laid back and so sweet but needs a long adjustment period, please apply for me!

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.
