Shepherd / Mixed : : Male (neutered) : : Adult
Good day to you friends. I am Berwin. A lot of you have probably heard of me already. When CARA brought me in I had come from a very bad situation. I had a broken jaw, which was not fixed, and it healed that way to where my mouth couldn't close. It caused me a lot of pain and made it very hard for me to eat. When I came to CARA you fine folks that support this rescue donated a lot of money so I could have a better life, and I had surgery to remove half my bottom jaw. When I went for my surgery they also found BB's under my skin, so everyone found out that more things have happened to me then they already knew. Well, the good news is I have now healed up from my surgery. I really enjoy being able to eat food without pain, and I am getting use to using my bottom jaw again. The better news is I am now allowed to be adopted, so I am looking for someone amazing out there who wants to give me the love I should of always received. I do have one request. I would really need a home with no cats. I am not their biggest fan, and hoping that someone out there is ok with that. Please put in an application and once it is approved they will set up an appointment for you to come meet me. Hope to be seeing you soon.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
