Hello! My name is Pogo! I was rescued from animal control. Someone rushed me in with a fractured leg! I might have been hit by a car and left. Originally I was suppose to have my leg amputated but the vet decided to let me heal with a splint! A couple weeks later, here I am without a splint and healing really well! I want to run so bad! I use my affected leg everyday and it’s growing stronger and stronger! I am dog friendly! I am quiet and gentle and sweet! I am the best dog ever!!!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
