Hello. My name is Major. I was rescued by CARA back in 2019. Sadly I am being returned today. There are two reasons. My humans do not feel they have time for me anymore, and a child in the home is scared of me. The child was attacked by a neighbor dog and because we look the same I am unfortunately scary. This is heartbreaking for me. I am a really good boy. I really just want to find a family that will make a life-long commitment. Thank you for listening to me.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
