I am so adorable! I love to play with my big doggy foster sisters and my human foster brothers! I am very social and love attention. I am even learning how to shake! I am trying to sit on command, but all I want to do is give kisses! ha ha I am too cute!

I do well in my crate and I am learning how to be potty trained in my foster home! If you would like to meet me email CARA so my foster mom can get me up to the shelter for viewing! Hope to meet you soon!


Izzy has been dewormed, started on flea and tick and heartworm prevention, and has been started on her vaccinations. She is 9 weeks old and about 8 lbs.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
