My Mom was a full blooded German Shepherd. My Dad was a full blooded Golden Retriever. I guess that makes me a full blooded Shepen!? Golderd!? Shetriever!? .....Who cares! How about a beautiful and elegant Lady in the Making!? Oh, .....and on the side..... Your Child's best Friend!

I was one of those that wasn't planned, but you can say that I turned out to be a piece of art. I am sweet and loving, very affectionate, playful, gentle....... The perfect pup for young and old. And just imagine how I will look like when I get out.

And with the smarts of a Shepherd and the looks of a Golden (OK, black, not gold!), I am an awesome package.

I am heartworm negative, UTD on shots and preventatives and will fall under CARA's Spay/Neuter Contract.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
