I was left to wander on my own, until the angels here at CARA earned my trust and brought me into their shelter. I am still a little scared of fast movements and loud noises. Ricky is fluffy, gorgeous and has a wonderful gentleness right now that just makes our souls cry. The poor guy is having to learn to trust people all over again. What a sad chapter in his life. But we have high hopes for him. If you would like to offer Ricky a home please come and visit him at the CARA adoption center.

Ricky is about 2 years old.

If you would like to adopt Ricky, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
