Born March 21, 2006, Polo and her siblings were lucky their mom found a safe place and a warm home only two days before they were born. They have been well socialized since birth by children, women, men, cats, and dogs. Mom is a smooth coat Border Collie mix weighing approximately 40 lbs. Polo was the runt of the litter. She is a very sweet little girl who, for a puppy, is very obedient. She's been indoors and is housetrained with supervision. Polo loves everyone and would do well in just about any home situation.

If you would like to adopt Polo, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at adoptions@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
