After you hear my story you will understand why. You see, not long ago I was a little homeless kitty. I had an accident with this big automobile contraption and since then I have not been able to walk on my back leg. I was lucky I was not hurt real badly... I was limping along when a kind soul found me. She felt sorry for me and did not want me to suffer with my hurt leg. She did the best thing she could do and took me to a Vet to have me put to sleep so I would not hurt anymore. Well the Vet took one look at me and knew my leg would never work again. What happened next seems like a dream! The Vet and the people who brought me in started talking about a surgery to remove my leg so I could live! The Vet even offered to do the surgery at a really discounted price! All this love for little ol' me!! So my foster families are busy raising money to help pay for my surgery. It will not be an easy road, but gosh I have already used two of my lives so I am ready for anything!! If you would like to help CARA and my fosters with my surgery and recovery costs that would be great. I sure would like some well wishes too! Thanks for thinking about me, and maybe when I am ready for my forever home (soon I hope!!) you might be the special person for me? Something tells me 2006 is going to be a great year for me! Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
