Saluto! My name is Bella, because I am an Italian beauty. Dean Martin has sung many songs about me -- "Bella Cella Luna". And that's what they say about me -- I'm beautiful not only in body but also in spirit. I'm searching ever so diligently for that one special home; could you be it? I'm an energetic female but not overwhelmingly so. I love to jog and cuddle, (but not at the same time). I am good with other dogs and I simply love puppies, but naturally being Italian, I do prefer those of the male persuasion. I'll greet you with a wag of my tail and a hop, skip, and jump when you come home each day. Please come meet me! Until then, Ciao!

Bella is about 1 year old and is current on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention and will be spayed prior to adoption. She is a shar pei/lab mix with a smidgen of chow thrown in for good measure. Her personality falls somewhere between a lab and shar pei.

If you would like to adopt Bella, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
