Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

Meet Huck! He is a handsome boy who is just over a year old. A perfect day for Huck would be spending it outdoors. Huck has had a rough life. Since he has come under CARA's care, he has been neutered and he also had FHO surgery to repair his broken leg which he came to CARA with. The funds for his surgery were raised by many wonderful CARA supporters and donors. We can't thank them enough. Huck now gets a chance at a pain-free life which he did not have before. Huck is a very grateful and happy boy and is recovering from surgery in a foster home. If you have questions about our sweet Huck, please let us know.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
